Ingredient properties

The organic cold pressed pomegranate seed oil for Weleda’s skincare is harvested when the pomegranates are at their peak at the end of September. The harvest takes place on organic farms on fertile mountain slopes in Turkey, where the fruits are picked by hand by farmers who work with Weleda in a fair trading co-operative.

Both cold-pressed Pomegranate Seed Oil and Argan Oil are exceptionally high in anti-oxidants and fatty acids omega 5, 6 and 9 to strengthen and nourish dry, mature skin. Borage Oil improves the barrier function of the skin thanks to its high levels of gamma-linolenic acid to keep the skin hydrated, elastic and supple.
